Sunday School
All of us need a place to belong, a place to talk with other Christians about our faith, and a place where we can study the Bible in a more intimate setting. One primary place to do that at Jackson First Cumberland Presbyterian Church is through Sunday School. The Sunday School classroom is the one classroom no one ever outgrows. Sunday School is a vital companion to the worship service. It serves as a means of God’s grace through the study of scripture and growth in discipleship.
Sunday School at First Cumberland meets every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. Our church offers a wide variety of classes which meet the needs of all ages. One unique characteristic of our Sunday School is that many of our classes are inter-generational, that is, they have a wide variety of ages rather than a specific age group. We also continually evaluate the need for new classes, starting them as needs arise.
